EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CHILDREN OF FALLEN SOLIDERS OR FIRST RESPONDERS

 Required Documentation:

Proof of relation to the fallen solider or first responder and proof of fallen solider or first responder’s active-duty service.

•  Applications are accepted between July 1, 2024 and July 31, 2024.  If July 31 falls on a weekend, the deadline date will be extended to the close of the first business day following July 31.
• Scholarship awards are generally $5,000.
• Applicants must reapply each year they are interested in receiving funds from James A. Edwards Scholarship Trust.
• All application information must be submitted via email.
• Documentation is not accepted via US mail, fax, or over the phone.
• Offer or denial notifications will be sent in mid-August. 

•  ALL students should apply for government available aid such as the John Fry Scholarship prior to applying for the fallen soldier or first responder scholarship.
